Senior Project Manager Louisiana Heavy Highway We are currently searching for an experienced Project Manager or Sr. Project Manager that has the ability to manage a team of 3 Project Managers. We are seeking heavy highway construction experience. The Sr PM will interface with field supervision, company management and project representatives. Communication is Key - The position requires communication with all levels of management and non-management personnel in a professional and responsive manner. The Sr PM must possess proven strong leadership skills to guide, stimulate and inspire the entire Project Management Team. Essential Job Accountabilities: Lead estimating efforts on projects to ensure accurate and consistent bid to build process. Coordinate efforts with estimators, owners, and supervisors of construction to manage resources to meet project schedule. Participate in bid review and bid closing to ensure accuracy of bid and evaluate project feasibility work with estimating team to develop bid schedule. Provide environment where dynamic project communication occurs between Project Engineers, Foremen, Superintendents and Construction Manager to ensure work is accomplished in an efficient, profitable and safe manner. Ensure proper job controls, i.e. quantities, cost, revenue and schedule. Establish and maintain working relationships with owners, agencies, subcontractor's corporate management, inspectors, etc. providing customer service to develop long-term partnerships with client base. Ensure accurate construction reports for the job allowing for continuous improvement in performance. Comply, understand, and support corporate safety initiatives to ensure a safe work environment. Required Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or business or related field of study with 5 years minimum of experience.
