IDEAL CANDIDATE: We need a proven instructional designer who has designed training in a multi-unit retail or a hospitality service-based business (hotels, restaurants, etc.). We need someone who is creative, who knows how to utilize learning theory and instructional design to utilize current practices to streamline training for our clubs and provide JIT learning and micro learnings to help Invited team members deliver outstanding service and operations at our clubs. Someone that has an entrepreneurial creative spirit and successful track record of designing engaging coursework utilizing current technology and tools. We are an HR team in transformation helping the business through its growth working to build an amazing culture. It will be key for this leader to develop & maintain strong working relationships with Operations Leadership by providing clear measurement and reporting of the effectiveness of training. Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize, and organize to support the business. As an Instructional Designer, you will play a key role in developing effective and engaging learning experiences that align with our organizational goals and objectives. The ideal candidate will have a passion for adult learning, instructional design methodologies, and a keen eye for detail to create impactful training programs. Responsibilities: Needs Analysis (20%) Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify knowledge gaps and performance issues within the organization. Collaborate with subject matter experts to understand learning objectives and content requirements.Curriculum Design (30%) Design and develop comprehensive instructional materials, including e-learning modules, instructor-led training materials, job aids, and assessments. Create engaging and interactive content that caters to diverse learning styles and preferences. Integrate learning technologies into the curriculum design to enhance engagement and effectiveness. Project Management (20%) Manage end-to-end instructional design projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather input and feedback throughout the development process. Learning Management System (LMS) Administration (20%) Administer and maintain the Learning Management System to ensure seamless delivery and tracking of training programs. Collaborate with IT for troubleshooting and optimizing LMS functionality. Reporting (10%) Develop and generate reports on the effectiveness of training programs. Utilize data to provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement. Follow up with departments to ensure completion and compliance with all training requirements. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, or a related field. Proven experience as an Instructional Designer, preferably in a corporate setting. Proficiency in instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles. Proficient in using e-learning authoring tools (such as Articulate Storyline, Articulate 360). Experience with incorporating learning technologies into curriculum design. Experience in Learning Management System administration, preferably Oracle Learning Cloud. Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Compensation: $80k Have more questions?
