Matanuska-Susitna Borough School District Invites applications for the following position: Elementary School Music Teachers School Year: 2025 Location: District Wide Alaska's 2nd largest school district is looking to hire Elementary School Music Teachers for the upcoming school year We are located 45 minutes outside of Anchorage, AK. We have 19,000+ students across 48 schools. Our communities include: Glacier View, Sutton, Palmer, Wasilla, Butte, Knik-Fairview, Meadow Lakes, Big Lake, Houston, Willow, Talkeetna and Trapper Creek. Description: To teach assigned Music courses through a variety of instructional techniques both the required and supplementary subject matter and skills within district curriculum. To create an excellent classroom environment that is conducive to learning for each student. This is a blanket posting for the upcoming school year. We request that Out-of-district applicants complete our Mat Su School District electronic application AND submit their names into certified applicant pools.
