Made Possible.Graphic Packaging International is seeking candidates to join our Shelbyville, Illinois team in the role of Night Shift Production Supervisor. Our supervisors, leading a team of approximately 25 employees, achieve: * a safe work environment, fostering a culture of safe performance. * an engaged work environment, listening to employee requests and concerns, soliciting feedback, navigating through difficult or complex problems, and decisively responding. * a productive work environment, engaging the employees and work teams, providing resources, setting priorities, and monitoring progress. * a quality product, ensuring proper training, procedures, and inspections.Key to success in the role includes the ability to effectively: * communicate with all levels of the organization on key issues. * facilitate team meetings. * evaluate job performance and recommend appropriate action. * initiate and conduct personnel actions, including progressive discipline. * achieve administrative tasks. BACKGROUND / EXPERIENCE: * 2-5 years of manufacturing supervisory experience, required.EDUCATION / KNOWLEDGE: * Bachelor's degree (Industrial Engineering, Production Management, Business Administration, or related field); or significant, closely related work experience required in lieu of degree.REQUIRED SKILLS: * Demonstrated ability to lead a team through training, coaching, mentoring, and counseling. * Strong safety orientation * Demonstrated strategic, analytical problem-solving ability (TCC/Trouble Cause Correction) * Demonstrated timely, effective decision-making skills. * Demonstrated interpersonal skills, adept at motivation and experienced at conflict resolution. * Demonstrated knowledge of process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, 5S or other discipline) * Demonstrated communication skills, effective at all levels of the organization. * Proficient computer skills, experienced with Microsoft Office applications. * Demonstrated ability to work independently and within teams. * Demonstrated ability to coordinate across department and functions. * Ability to perform the essential functions of the job, without accommodation.Schedule Information:Our Night Shift Production Supervisor schedule consists of a 12-hour night shift. This schedule includes every other weekend off. However, our supervisors will occasionally work an alternate schedule, including an opposite weekend.Salary Min: $65,880.00Salary Mid: $87,840.00Salary Max:$109,800.00Graphic Packaging is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
