Our growing law firm is looking to add a family attorney who is fiercely passionate about representing clients facing one of the most challenging times in their lives. Candidates should be adept in litigation and trial skills, client management, initiating and finalizing divorces, alimony, child support/child custody, and real estate. Experience in handling legal issues such as child custody, high-conflict divorce, and domestic violence is also a must. If you have a proven record of success both in and out of court, apply now! Responsibilities: • Collaborate with senior partners and paralegals to effectively move files through the civil litigation process• Ensure clients are effectively represented at court hearings as needed• Prepare legal documents such as legal pleadings, motions, marital settlement agreements, contracts, judgments, and orders for a high volume of cases• Assist clients effectively by understanding their needs analyzing the situation then strategizing and deciding on a proper course of action• Keep client files properly organized and up to date• Divide marital assets, including real estate, when necessary during divorce proceedings Qualifications: • Candidates should be great negotiators and communicators, specifically in situations when emotions and stress are high• J.D. required from a reputable school and Georgia Bar License in Good Standing• No prior criminal history and ability to pass detailed background check Compensation: $85,000 - $130,000 About Company: Small family law firm. Onsite and occasional remote work is required. High-Speed internet connection at home and secure, private work area at home.
