Orbital ATK is currently recruiting for Antenna and Radome Design Engineer at our Dayton, OH location. Orbital ATK's Dayton, OH design, manufacturing, and test facility is seeking an experienced Engineering Professional for the position of Antenna and Radome Design Engineer. Required skills / capabilities include Conformal Antenna and Radome Design, particularly for aerospace applications. Other highly desirable capabilities include design of Fixed and Electronically Steerable Arrays, Low Observables, FSS Radome Design, CEM Analysis, RF / Engineered Materials, Project Leadership, and Systems Engineering. Products under development include Conformal Aerospace Antennas, Passive and Active Arrays, FSS Radomes, and Low Observable Structures and Treatments. Job Description: This position will require individual and team focused research, design, analysis, prototyping, test validation, and manufacturing support. Prior experience with Design for Manufacturability and Affordability is preferred. The ability to engage in Leadership and/or Systems Engineering roles is emphasized. Prior experience with the requirements of MIL:STD:461/462/464/810 and DO:160 is beneficial. Applicants must Demonstrate prior working experience in Conformal Antenna Design, Passive and Active Arrays, low observable (LO) / RCS reduction techniques, and substantiate prior project leadership and/or systems engineering experience. Design and Analysis will include industry standard software packages, along with a host of proprietary software tools. Daily planning and project status updates will be required. Regular communication with management staff and customers, along with Integrated Product Team (IPT) members is expected to be successful. Plan and assist hardware test validation using standard microwave equipment and techniques including vector network analyzer (VNA) and anechoic chamber. Requirements: * Active Secret Clearance or ability to obtain (typically requires US Citizenship)* MS in Electrical Engineering, specializing in RF / Electromagnetics; PHD is desirable* Minimum 10 years with B.S. or related experience, 5 years with M.S. or PhD* Relevant experience in aerospace industry, with design experience in conformal antenna apertures / arrays, FSS radomes, and LO structures* Demonstrated ability to develop product designs independently, and verify those designs through prototype fabrication and testing* Solid background in electromagnetics* Willingness to work cooperatively in a team* Experience with Computational Electromagnetic codes such as HFSS, FEKO, PMM, XPATCH, RAM2D, etc.* Ability to code in MATLAB preferred* Working experience with the test and evaluation of microwave devices, utilizing RF test equipment such as a Vector Network Analyzer (VNA)* Proficient in MS Office suite* Experience fostering and leading in a culture of continuous improvement* Excellent verbal and written communication skills Desired Capabilities: * Working experience within various anechoic test chambers * Ability to create software algorithms for design, optimization, and data analysis using MATLAB* Familiar with common material measurements for the extraction of electrical properties* Knowledge of composite manufacturing processes* Ability to work across multiple projects and follow through to completion Process: Initial survey and phone interview(s) followed by on:site professional inter
