J ob description: Special Events Security Officer will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of all guests, staff, and assets during special events. Also controlling parking and maintaining the flow of traffic before and after the event concludes. Job responsibilities: Greet and assist guests as they arrive on property for event Direct vehicles to appropriate parking areas efficiently Monitor parked vehicles to ensure security and deter theft or vandalism Maintain a visible presence to provide event attendees with a sense of safety and security Enforce parking regulations and assist with traffic control Respond to any security or safety issues that may arise during the event Communicate effectively with event staff, security team, and emergency services if necessary Provide assistance to guests who may have questions or need help navigating the event venue Work collaboratively with other security personnel to ensure overall event safety and success Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent One to three years of experience in a security setting Friendly and upbeat personality Ability to work under pressure Conflict-resolution skills Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Reports to: Safety Supervisor Job Posted by ApplicantPro
