Applicants must have the following: A valid N.C. driver's license High school diploma or GED C. Basic Law Enforcement Training certification Successful applicants must satisfactorily complete a pre-employment physical, drug screening, and psychological testing. Duties include but are not limited to enforcement of all criminal and traffic laws of the State of North Carolina and the ordinances of the Town of Stallings, investigation of suspicious or unusual incidents occurring during his/her tour of duty and conducts preliminary investigations of all actual crimes which he/she discovers or is assigned to investigate; and makes arrests for felony or misdemeanor offenses in accordance with Town Ordinances and State Statutes. The hiring salary for this position is $53,025.00 annually ($55,677.00 after a 6-month successful probation period).
