We have a direct hire opportunity for a Sr. Manufacturing Engineer in Bothell at a company that specializes in pipe products for water and wastewater infrastructure. The company's pipe products are primarily sold to large distributors who serve municipal customers in cities and towns across America.In this role, spend your day on the production floor developing and improving manufacturing processes for new and existing products, serve as a technical leader and mentor to other engineers, and manage large-scale CapEx projects with budgets ranging from $100k-$300k.Direct Hire Opportunity - Be on our client's payroll from Day 1!Salary and Shift Information: * Salary: $105K-$115K/year with both annual and profit-sharing bonuses * 1st Shift: 7 am - 3:30 pm; Mon-Fri Job Duties of the Sr. Manufacturing Engineer: * Design fixtures and tooling required for various production departments and ensure training and documentation is provided * Leverage engineering practices to be able to gain a deep understanding of problems and enhance manufacturing processes to resolve most production issues * Manage CapEx projects ($100K-$300K) with established goals and specifications from concept to procurement. * Develop manufacturing capabilities for production to support new products that meet market demand for mid-sized projects and drive processes forward on a timeline * Lead cost reduction efforts for processes by identifying waste, establishing best practices, and implementing better process methods * Analyze costs and return on investment for processes or changes to existing systems, typically with oversight and review of conclusionsBenefits of the Sr. Manufacturing Engineer: * Medical Insurance * Vision Insurance * Dental Insurance * Life Insurance: Long-Term / Short-Term Disability Insurance * Flexible Spending Accounts * Paid Time Off * Employee Assistance Program * Bonuses: They offer both annual and profit-sharing bonuses * Employee EventsJob Requirements of the Sr. Manufacturing Engineer: * Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience * 7+ years of experience in mechanical engineering * Expert in multiple technical disciplines, including lean, high-volume manufacturing, rubber, fabrication, forming, coatings, castings, or machining * Strong project management, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills * Strong written and oral communication skills with people at all levels of the organization * Comfortable using hand tools and power toolsAPPLY NOW!!
