Position Summary We are looking for equity-minded applicants who demonstrate a sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, and ethnic backgrounds present in our community.The Assistant Director of Graduate Admission is a key member of the graduate enrollment management team with primary responsibility for the admission and enrollment of new graduate students. The Assistant Director will also collaborate closely with the Assistant Director of Graduate Marketing and Recruitment and DGCE Chairs.This is an exempt, APA unit position and is subject to the terms of that union agreement.This position is located on campus in Bridgewater, MA. This position is eligible for hybrid / remote work in accordance with BSU remote work policy. Position Type APA Professional Essential Duties In this role, the candidate will have the opportunity to:1. Formulate and implement plans, processes, and tactics to admit and enroll graduate students into degree, certificate, post-baccalaureate, and non-degree programs and courses.2. Ensure that the focus of the Office of Graduate Admissions is on both the admission of students with the best fit for each individual program, and on growing or optimizing enrollment in individual programs, under the direction of the Director of Graduate Admissions, and in relation to the department's strategic plan.3. Provide understanding of a CRM with a focus on process and workflow analysis, enhanced module functionality, and application support to increase admissions efficiency.4. Collaborate with DGCE chairs to make timely admission decisions, track enrollment trends and communicate these trends in a timely, efficient and accurate manner to various constituents throughout the University community.5. Manage all records and applications through the CRM and Student Information System (Banner).6. Develop processes for and manage daily processing of all print and digital communication.7. Manage online application review process.8. Maintain and update application review manual for all program coordinators.9. Work with DGCE chairs to ensure their familiarity with online review process.10. Work with DGCE chairs to maintain updated rubrics for each program.11. Work with applicants to ensure they can successfully submit graduate applications12. Responsible for compiling all data used in reporting, and developing reports to be submitted to the Director.13. Initiate and collaborate on projects and efforts that increase the number of completed applications and conversion numbers, as well as eliminate barriers to application and enrollment.14. Participate in Admission Information Sessions virtually, on campus and attend recruitment events as needed.15. Act as an international applicant liaison addressing application issues as they arise collaborating with the International Student and Support Services Office for assistance as necessary.16. Act as a liaison between the College of Graduate Studies and articulation agreement partners17. Perform other duties as assigned. Preferred Qualifications Master's degree Knowledge of Banner.
