The Maintenance Technician will perform general maintenance and repairs for residential and commercial properties.MAJOR JOB DUTIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each major duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.PLUMBING: Replace/repair garbage disposers, plumbing fixtures, toilets, and shut-off valves/hoses. ELECTRICAL: Light electrical repairs; install/replace/repair light fixtures, outlets, GFCI, fans, electric heaters, smoke/CO detectors, fuses, breakers, and troubleshoot issues. GENERAL: Drywall repair/patch/paint, woodwork/doors, locksets, thresholds, windows, and window treatments/blinds, appliances. New drywall installation skills are a plus. Vinyl/tile flooring repair/installation preferred. OTHER: Remove graffiti, haul/remove unwanted items, attend inspections, janitorial work as needed. Respond to emergency calls, after-hours, and weekends as needed.MINIMUM EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:Must have own truck/vehicle and tools.Ability to repair or replace water lines, connectors, and drainpipes a plus.Electrical/HVAC license a plus.PI883558588f9c-29448-33857018PDN-9bf3a85b-a616-4c3a-9ca0-7af5d7f53a4c
