We are seeking a qualified Senior Inspector for a high-profile project in Hoboken, New Jersey. Responsibilities Field supervision of civil construction operations in urban environment Documentation of all work performed Supervise work of multiple contractors Interface with client, public and project managers Monitor project schedule and budget Oversee and coordinate inspection of work for compliance with plans, codes, standards as well as for compliance with schedules and deadlines Work with the project team on ensuring quality and safety on the job site Provide daily reports to senior management team Provide quantities, manpower and other field information for production of independent cost estimates. Collaborate with other inspectors to provide comprehensive field supervision Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management PE a big+ 5+ years' experience Experience related to excavation, pile driving (H piles, micro piles, helical piles, etc.) pile caps, rebar/concrete, finish work and utility relocations. Experience working in and around transit facilities a plus. Strong communication skills at multiple project levels ranging from tradespeople to client or facility executives Public sector experience a big+ Site safety a priority Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously, including off hours if/when required.
