Job Description As a hotel maintenance technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the overall maintenance and functionality of the hotel's facilities, equipment, and systems. Your role is crucial in providing a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained environment for guests and staff. Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as plumbing repairs, electrical troubleshooting, and HVAC system maintenance. Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and follow maintenance schedules for all equipment and systems. Respond promptly to guest requests and maintenance issues reported by staff. Repair and maintain furniture, fixtures, and appliances in guest rooms and common areas. Inspect and maintain fire safety equipment, including fire alarms and extinguishers. Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and functionality of swimming pools, spas, and fitness facilities. Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment inventory. Coordinate with outside contractors and vendors for specialized repairs or projects. Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Assist with general hotel operations and special projects as needed. #PPSFL Requirements Proven experience in building maintenance or a related field. Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems. Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment and systems efficiently. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks. Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects and work in various conditions. Certification or training in maintenance or a relevant field is a plus.
