The ideal candidate will specialize in life sciences transactions and possess a comprehensive understanding of technology and intellectual property matters within the realms of mergers and acquisitions, corporate transactions, and strategic commercial agreements.Duties:Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of technology and intellectual property agreements, including but not limited to collaboration, license, outsourcing, and joint venture agreements.Provide legal counsel on life sciences transactions, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.Conduct due diligence reviews for mergers and acquisitions involving technology and intellectual property assets.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess and mitigate legal risks associated with transactions.Stay abreast of industry trends and legal developments related to technology, life sciences, and intellectual property.Requirements:A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the Utah State Bar or eligibility for admission via reciprocity.3-6 years of relevant legal experience, with a focus on technology and intellectual property transactions.Exceptional research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Admission to the Utah State Bar or eligibility for admission via reciprocity.Skills:Proficiency in drafting and negotiating complex technology and intellectual property agreements.Strong understanding of life sciences transactions and the pharmaceutical industry.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced legal environment.Keen attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
