We are seeking a friendly, handy, team to live at and take care of the day to day needs of our 24 unit building in Northeast Detroit. In this position, you will be leasing the apartments and taking care of the repairs, maintenance, cleaning, replacing, ect. that comes up. You must be able to present yourself and speak on the phone and in person in a professional business-like manner. You must be able to get along with people. You must be able to see what has to be done and do it. You have to be able to work on your own without supervision. Procrastination does not work here. Some of the Skills Necessary You must be able to work with paint, plaster, and drywall, plumbing issues, electric issues, cleaning, doors, locks, windows and screens, trimming shrubs, carpentry, ect.. You must have you own tools to work with. We supply the material. You must be able to be available when necessary. We do hire out the lawn cutting, snow removal when over 21/2 inches. Carpet cleaning, and carpet replacing, Compensation What we offer is a supplement to your income. Unfortunately, this is only 24 units and not 124. We can not supply an apartment and a wage that someone can live on. The compensation is a free one-bedroom apartment and $200 per month.
