Who You'll Work With: The Client Group has a presence in the Americas, Europe, Asia, and Australia, and is composed of five main areas: Sales & Client Services works with financial intermediaries and institutions to offer diversified investment solutions that help clients build and preserve their wealth Business Development is a conduit to the firm's investment teams and supports our clients and internal business partners through investment-platform and product content, messaging, competitive analysis and education Product Strategy & Development designs, develops and manages the firm's global lineup of investment services and considers clients' evolving needs to identify new opportunities Marketing promotes the firm and its services by creating, packaging and distributing content and messaging to engage diverse audiences through digital platforms and initiatives, strategic campaigns, and events Business Transformation looks to evolve and scale our business, leveraging digital and data, to drive top-line growth and improve profitability What You'll Do: The Digital Experience Solutions Analyst role requires a candidate with a strong background in web development expertise, whom can gather and write detailed requirements like a business analyst while utilizing various Agile and Scrum methodologies like a Scrum master. The role involves supporting the building and enhancing of AB's global websites, which serve over 1 million unique visitors in 30 countries and 12 languages. The ideal candidate must possess a deep understanding of technology application, meeting regional business stakeholder goals from a globally holistic mindset, Agile and Scrum methodologies, and leverage project management tools such as Jira and Confluence.This role will collaborate with project managers, product managers and web developers to understand the needs of all parties and support implementation of solutions. The candidate will be responsible for collecting and documenting requirements, understanding current sprint velocity for the front-end web development team, leading scrum ceremonies, managing stakeholder expectations, and working closely with product managers and web development teams to complete road mapped initiatives. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:Gather requirements from regional stakeholders across EMEA, APAC, Americas, and globally to build new website features or enhancementsWrite thorough and detailed business requirements in Confluence and epics/stories in Jira with acceptance criteria and development notes for web developers to completeLead and run Scrum ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning meetings, story pointing and estimation sessions, demos, and retrospectivesTriage and troubleshoot incoming web development production issues, including CSS styling, HTML structure, JS functionality, API service calls, and CMS authoringAssign tickets to the appropriate team members (front-end, QA, authoring, data, etc.) based on ticket criteria and understanding team member capacityNavigate an Agile/Waterfall hybrid approach to development, work in a sprint timebox, and create release notes with the AEM product manager and front-end development leadFacilitate effective working meetings, using techniques such as active listening, negotiation, and leadershipTailor communication style to suit both face-to-face and virtual settings while offering strategic solutions to problemsCollaborate with multiple partners and stakeholders, including Senior Leaders, Business Sponsors, Marketing, Front-End Development, Back-End Development, QA, Production, Content, Strategy, and Design What We're Looking For: 4-7 years as either Web Developer, Scrum Master or similar roleExperienced in Web Development:HTMLCSSJavascript/React REST API / CRUDComfortable working in systems, marketing/technology tools such as:Adobe AEM or component based CMSJira, Confluence or other project/development management softwareData Analysis tools such as Adobe or Google AnalyticsWorkflow and Sales/Marketing Automation tools (Workfront, Marketo, Seismic etc)Developer Tools and PostmanExcellent writing, speaking, presentation and interpersonal skillsNatural problem solver and self starterUnderstanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies; Scrum certification is a plusExperience in Financial Services, Asset Management, Digital Marketing is a plus Ideal Candidate Previous experience as a web developer or Scrum MasterCan bridge the gap between business and developer pain pointsFunctional knowledge of front-end development concepts and building for scaleCreative problem solver with an excellent work history and a drive to succeed Benefits of this Role Opportunity to transition from a technical role to a business-facing roleWork with first in-class enterprise marketing technology toolsBe part of a team that values creativity, problem-solving, and collaborationCompetitive compensation and benefits package Who We Are: We are a leading global investment management firm offering high-quality research and diversified investment services to institutional clients, retail investors, and private-wealth clients in major markets around the globe.
