Summary:The purpose of this position is to support the Kirksville manufacturing facility in assuring quality productsby performing process capability studies, determining process improvements, instituting corrective actionfor process & Quality System deficiencies, and partnering with Kirksville operations in achieving plantobjectives.Responsibilities:---Plan, coordinate, execute, and document process capability studies---Plan, coordinate, execute, and document process improvement studies---Perform and document investigations, including root cause analysis for customer complaints, scrap,rejects, etc.---Support Operations & GQM strategic plans in leading or supporting projects---Plan, coordinate, and document Quality Plans---Plan, coordinate, and document work instructions---Plan, coordinate, test/inspection methods including the purchase of equipment---Conduct training on defect awareness, statistical techniques, and good manufacturing practices---Plan, conduct, and document Internal AuditsEssential Functions of the Role**:-- Time spent using PC or keyboard-- Walking large plant floor area.-- Considerable verbal interface/communicationWork Experience Requirements-- Number of Overall Years Necessary: 2-5-- Experience in plastic injection molding. 3years experience desired-- Quality engineering experience preferred-- Technical knowledge in systematic injection molding techniques preferredHollister Incorporated is an independent, employee-owned company that develops,manufactures, and markets healthcare products worldwide.
