ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time. 1. Ensure all guest rooms and public spaces are clean and inspected according to Leadership Institute operational processes.2. Report any damages or defects discovered.3. Provide exceptional client service to both internal and external clients.4. Efficiently handle guest requests and complaints5. Perform routine inspections of guest rooms, classrooms, and public space prior to guest arrivals.6. Abide by and meet all safety and OSHA requirements and standards. QUALIFICATIONSRequired Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Two years of experience in housekeeping, preferably in a full-service hotel environment3. Ability to work with minimum supervision, while meeting tight deadlines with strong attention to detail4. Ability to endure light physical labor5. Ability to deal discreetly with confidential or sensitive information6. Demonstrate a high level of integrity and ethical standards7. Flexibility to work shift schedules including nights and weekends as seen necessary8. Ability to travel, occasionally overnight Preferred Qualifications: 1. Experience working in housekeeping at a hotel2. Experience working in laundry at a hotel3. Experienced in property management systems4. Knowledge of OSHA standards OTHER JOB REQUIREMENTS / WORKING CONDITIONS Sitting Occasionally (Less than 25% of the time) Standing Constantly (More than 50% of the time) Walking Constantly (More than 50% of the time) Bending Frequently (25% - 50% of the time) Lifting Up to 10 lbs. Visual / Audio / Speaking Able to access and interpret client information received from the computer and able to hear and speak with individuals in person and on the phone. Manual Dexterity / Keyboarding Able to work standard office equipment, including PC keyboard and mouse, copy/fax machines, and printers. Availability Able to work all hours scheduled, including overtime as directed by manager/supervisor and required by business need.
