- Assistant to the kitchen lead- assign day task to the staff of the day- Set up kitchen equipment at the beginning of the day, including setting oven temperatures, turning on gas fryers, and settings for dough conditioner.- prepare and bake items required for the day, including pastries, breads, cakes and other baked goods- prepare kitchen and ingredients for the day and the following day- Check incoming products for quality, and be able to identify and remove damaged+expired goods- Follow recipes and ensure consistency in product quality- Decorate cakes and pastries with precision and according to store designs- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment- clean up kitchen at the end of the shift- Assist with catering orders and special events as neededQualifications:- Previous experience in pastry or food production is a must- Knowledge of various pastry techniques, including cake decorating with fresh cream and not butter based cream is a must- Ability to handle and decorate using fresh cream on pastries, bread, and cakes.- Proficient knife skills for precise cutting and shaping- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail- Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks effectively- Excellent teamwork and communication skillsrecblid ewqbve8dle22yg83urnex26yrgt91c PDN-9bfbb394-9085-4302-a818-e14706c3a3c1
