Summary: The purpose of this position is to support the Kirksville manufacturing facility in assuring quality products by performing process capability studies, determining process improvements, instituting corrective action for process and Quality System deficiencies, and partnering with Kirksville operations in achieving plant objectives. Responsibilities: -Plan, coordinate, execute, and document process capability studies -Plan, coordinate, execute, and document process improvement studies -Perform and document investigations, including root cause analysis for customer complaints, scrap, rejects, etc. -Support Operations and GQM strategic plans in leading or supporting projects -Plan, coordinate, and document Quality Plans -Plan, coordinate, and document work instructions -Plan, coordinate, test/inspection methods including the purchase of equipment -Conduct training on defect awareness, statistical techniques, and good manufacturing practices -Plan, conduct, and document Internal Audits Essential Functions of the Role**: Time spent using PC or keyboard Walking large plant floor area. Considerable verbal interface/communication Work Experience Requirements Number of Overall Years Necessary: 2:5 Experience in plastic injection molding. 3years experience desired Quality engineering experience preferred Technical knowledge in systematic injection molding techniques preferred Hollister Incorporated is an independent, employee:owned company that develops,manufactures, and markets healthcare products worldwide.
