What to expect as the Marketing Specialist Each day you will come prepared to provide general support for the marketing team and effectively collaborate with your colleagues to complete assigned tasks. Your responsibilities will include: Create and post organic content for social media, websites, and other digital media platforms about the company Coordinate, promote, and participate in company events Create social media posts about the company's participation within the service territory Assists in creating and submitting all press releases and social media posts regarding HCTC events, awards, annual meetings, and scholarships Assists in the coordination and development of marketing materials for public distribution through social media Assists with product and company campaigns, which may include social and online media, print media, direct mail, and other multimedia channels Collaborates with internal stakeholders to distribute cohesive, coordinated communications to the public Qualifications: Bachelor's or Associate degree in marketing, business, or communications preferred Extensive knowledge of social media platforms and utilization is required 2-3 years of proven experience in marketing, communications, or public relations position desired Related telecom experience in a customer service, sales, or marketing environment desired Excellent computer skills and communication skills required Work Schedule Monday thru Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm with occasional after-hour and weekend event requirements.
