LHH is seeking an experienced litigation secretary interested in a full-time, job opportunity in Miami, FL? We especially want to hear from you if you have commercial litigation experience, but a solid background in complex litigation is fine. You will be expected to be highly familiar with local and state court rules, as well as federal and state filing and e-filing. You will be responsible for drafting, formatting, and proofreading correspondence and legal documents, including pleadings and discovery responses; filing and e-filing in state and federal courts; opening new client matters; calendar management; legal research; and other tasks as assigned. You will also be responsible for administrative tasks, including attorney time entry, routing incoming mail, coordinating teleconferences and meetings, scheduling depositions, and monitoring deadlines and schedules. The ideal candidate will be a pleasure to work with, with a no-task-too-small, proactive attitude and excellent written and verbal communication skills supporting top-notch customer service skills. Qualifications: 5+ years of litigation secretary or assistant experience, commercial litigation experience is a huge plus!
