ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Drives vehicles with capacities under three tons to transport materials to and from specified destinations, such as railroad stations, plants, residences, offices, or within industrial yards.- Obeys traffic laws and follows established traffic and transportation procedures.- Verifies the contents of inventory loads against shipping papers.- Loads and unloads trucks, vans, or automobiles.- Performs basic vehicle maintenance tasks, such as adding oil, fuel, or radiator fluid or performing minor repairs.
