Practice Area: Litigation - General (consumer), Job Type: Attorney, Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 3 Years, A law firm based in Charlotte is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney to provide legal advice and representation to clients across various litigation matters. The ideal candidate will have 3-8 years of litigation experience and be licensed to practice law in North Carolina or willing to obtain a North Carolina license immediately. Duties:Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on a variety of litigation issues.Conduct legal research and analysis to support litigation strategies.Correspond with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in legal proceedings.Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery requests.Participate in legal proceedings such as depositions, motion hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.Focus on either general commercial litigation, fiduciary litigation, construction litigation, or employment litigation as per interest. Requirements:JD from an accredited law school.3-8 years of litigation experience.Licensed to practice law in North Carolina or willing to obtain a North Carolina license immediately.Experience representing either plaintiffs or defendants in civil litigation.Proficiency in hearings, depositions, and/or motion practice.Trial and arbitration experience is a plus. Education:JD from an accredited law school. Certifications:Admission to the State Bar of North Carolina. Skills:Strong legal research and analytical skills.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize deadlines effectively.Confidence in legal proceedings and ability to advocate effectively for clients.Attention to detail and accuracy in legal documentation.
