Practice Area: Litigation - Commercial, Job Type: Attorney, Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 1 Years, A law firm in New York City, NY, is seeking a Junior Associate Attorney to join their commercial litigation team.Duties:Conduct legal research and analysis on various commercial litigation matters.Assist senior attorneys in drafting legal documents, including complaints, motions, and discovery requests.Prepare for and attend hearings, depositions, and client meetings.Collaborate with clients, witnesses, and experts to gather necessary information and evidence.Review and analyze documents and evidence for case preparation.Assist in case strategy development and implementation.Maintain organized case files and documentation.Provide support to senior attorneys in all phases of litigation.Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the New York State Bar or eligibility to waive into the New York Bar.Strong academic background with excellent grades.Prior internship or work experience in a legal setting is preferred but not required.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Admission to the New York State Bar or eligibility to waive into the New York Bar.Skills:Legal research and analytical skills.Proficiency in drafting legal documents.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.Time management and prioritization abilities.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Adaptability and willingness to learn.
