As a member of our team, you will use your strong interpersonal and professional skills to provide sales, service, and support to both internal and external customers on a daily basis. Responsibilities: •Present, promote and sell products/services to existing and prospective material handling/equipment customers•Create and implement a sales strategy that ensures you meet personal sales goals, as well as those set in place by the company•Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule as per company directives•Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis for existing and prospective customers to show value of engaging in a relationship with our company•Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships by using excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a high level of professionalism•Reach out to customer leads through cold calling on a daily basis•Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize customer satisfaction•Coordinate sales efforts with other team members and departments•Continuously analyze territory and market potential•Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services•Attend weekly sales meetings and be prepared to discuss current sales activities, customer updates, etc.•Work at company location office one day per week (usually Mondays)•Coordinate with the accounts receivable department to ensure that all invoices are paid in full in a timely manner by your customers•Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends in material handling industry•Continuously improve skills and job performance through feedback •Communicate with all current and potential customers on a regular basis, providing solutions as needed, and oversee all sales activity in your assigned sales territory.•Coordinate with other members of the sales team and team leaders as needed to generate sales and provide excellent customer service.•Submit reports on your sales activity regularly into the company’s CRM software, and maintain clean and updated records for all leads and customers.•Adhere to all company procedures, values and policies so that you provide an accurate representation of the company to all potential and current customers.•Perform your duties as efficiently as possible, reducing costs when possible, and maintain receipts for all job-related expenses and submit them to accounting. Qualifications & Requirements: •Minimum of 2 years experience in sales – Outside Sales preferred •High School Graduate – College preferred •Valid Texas Driver License•Must pass pre-employment checks: drug/alcohol, criminal background, driving record•Excellent verbal and written communication skills•Strong organizational skills and attention to detail•Positive attitude and a can-do, solutions-oriented focus•Ability to work as part of a team•Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM practices•Proven work experience as a sales representative•Proven ability to build productive business relationships with customers•Proven ability in building and maintaining customer relationships via excellent communication skills, understanding the products and services represented, providing solutions, and taking action on customers’ behalf as related to their needs•Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales•Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills•Skilled in prioritizing job duties, responsibilities, and customer needs•Skilled in time management and multi-tasking while staying organized•Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to customer needs•Working knowledge of and experience with MS Office programs and CRM practicesThis is a full-time position - M-F 8am-5pm.
