Responsibilities: • Manage controllable department expenses such as food, supplies, uniforms, equipment, and collaborate with vendors to achieve the highest quality products at the most reasonable price• Be responsible for the overall success of the daily culinary operations, with an emphasis on surpassing guest expectations while driving revenue and profit• Incorporate different ingredients in a creative way to produce fresh and innovative menu items and specials• Review and track team member performance objectives, as well as offer guidance and assistance to support and promote an efficient kitchen• Establish a collaborative environment for kitchen workers by educating recruits and hiring personnel that fit the corporate culture Qualifications: • Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent GED certificate• Understanding and compliance with kitchen sanitation, safety and equipment usage, and food storage• Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with guests and coworkers• This role requires 7-8 years of culinary experience • Outstanding management abilities, as well as experience leading, inspiring, and building a team Compensation: $55,000 - $65,000 yearly About Company: Relic on State, is an energetic and luxurious two-story restaurant, located on the corner of South State Street and Main Street, in the historic 300-year-old Thornton House, once owned by Captain Francis Murray of the Continental Army.
