Primary Role Responsible for supervising front:line personnel and implementingoperational processes that are engaged in the functional area ofProduction for water and/or wastewater operations. Key Accountabilities:Supervise a team of front:line staff engaged in production operations.:Schedule training and development activities to ensure that personnelobtain and maintain appropriate operator certifications from regulatingagencies.:Participate in the resolution of union and/or non:union labor issues.:Record, compile and provide operating data to track the financialperformance of production operations.:Coordinates the construction of new and/or upgraded productionfacilities in accordance with approved CAPEX budget.:Implement a preventative maintenance program for capital assets thatprovides OPEX savings and defers CAPEX spending, where possible.:Day:to:day implementation of security efforts at all productionfacilities.Supervise daily activities to ensure that adequate quantities of treatedwater meeting all regulatory standards are provided to customers at alltimes.Supervise operational and business processes to ensure that AmericanWater policies are followed, best practices are implemented, andinternal/external reporting requirements are satisfied. Knowledge/Skills:Knowledge of the regulated wastewater business and the regulations impactingthe business.:Knowledge of company policies and procedures, practices, and trends.:Knowledge of process and operational areas.
