Job Title : Manufacturing/Production Operator - 1st Shift - DOD Secret Location: Scottsdale, AZ Wage Range: 20-25 depending on years of experience, qualifications and shift differential Job Number: 24-00950 Job Description: Our client, a large defense contractor, has an immediate opening for a Manufacturing/Production Operator with an active DOD Secret to work from their Scottsdale, AZ facilityIn this hands-on role, the Manufacturing / Production Operator will perform project tasks/assignments of a basic nature ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies such as modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cablesEssentially, you'll follow methods, techniques, and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering, and cable harnessing on subassemblies and unitsThis position will be on a shifted work week and could include Saturday and Sunday as part of the regular schedule with two days off in the middle of the weekQualifications: High School diploma or equivalent is requiredCLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hireApplicants selected will be subject to a U.SGovernment security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified informationDue to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.Scitizenship is requiredWhat you'll experience:--- Technologies that aren't just top-notch, they're often top-secret--- A team of bold thinkers committed to exploring what's next--- Opportunities to gain new knowledge - as it's discovered What you bring to the table:--- A High School diploma or equivalent--- Ability to use hand/torque tools, soldering irons, other light industrial tools--- Ability to set up basic equipment and process hardware compliantly to specifications--- General knowledge of measuring equipment and math, and sound communication skills What sets you apart:--- Creative thinking with the ability to multi-task--- Commitment to ongoing professional development--- Team player who thrives in collaborative environments and revels in team success Equal Opportunity Employer Veterans/Disabled--- While an hourly range is posted for this position, an eventual hourly rate is determined by a comprehensive salary analysis which considers multiple factors including but not limited to: job-related knowledge, skills and qualifications, education and experience as compared to others in the organization doing substantially similar work, if applicable, and market and business considerationsBenefits offered include medical, dental and vision benefits; dependent care flexible spending account; 401(k) plan; voluntary life/short term disability/whole life/term life/accident and critical illness coverage; employee assistance program; sick leave in accordance with regulationBenefits may be subject to generally applicable eligibility, waiting period, contribution, and other requirements and conditions#CJ #Circa
