Practice Area: Litigation - Class Actions - Defense,Antitrust and Competition - Litigation and Investigations, Job Type: Attorney, Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 3 Years, A law firm is seeking a dedicated and skilled Mid-Level Antitrust and Class Action Litigation Associate Attorney to join their team in Irvine, CA. The ideal candidate will have a strong antitrust and class action defense litigation background with 3-5 years of relevant experience. This role requires significant experience with Federal Court litigation, along with exceptional research, writing, and communication skills.Key Duties:Represent clients in antitrust and class action defense litigation.Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other litigation documents.Manage discovery processes, including drafting and responding to interrogatories, requests for production, and depositions.Develop case strategies and provide legal advice to clients.Participate in court hearings, trials, and settlement negotiations.Collaborate with other attorneys and support staff to ensure efficient case management.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.Handle a diverse caseload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Requirements:3-5 years of experience in antitrust and class action defense litigation.Significant experience with Federal Court litigation.Proven ability to handle complex litigation matters.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.An excellent academic background is essential.Certifications:Admission to the California Bar is required.Admission to additional relevant Bars is a plus.Skills:Proficient in legal research tools and software.Strong legal writing and drafting abilities.Effective oral advocacy skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
