Nursery Practitioner Location: Edinburgh Salary: From A GBP 11.00 per hour Job Type: Full Time, Permanent Hours: 40 hours per week Our client is a small independent nursery that provides a high: quality care and learning environment for children and their families. The nursery hope for applicants who are enthusiastic, professional, and friendly, and that are willing to work to a high standard as well as being able to have fun and embrace their close team relationships. They are looking for a Nursery Practitioner to join their team. Experience working within a setting previously would be great, though if you are recently qualified then they would support your development too Why the Nursery think you would love to be a part of their team: The nursery thrive on creating a loving home away from home environment for all children, families, and their team members. They will make sure you feel valued, recognising your strengths, and giving opportunities to implement your own ideas and experiences to support the creation of their environment for the children to play and learn. Qualifications and Experience To be successful in the role, you would ideally: Be HNC qualified or equivalent, but they have opportunities to offer training to support you to do this. Be registered or can register with the SSSC and obtain a PVG : the cost of this will be covered by the nursery Have knowledge of the SSSC standards, Care Inspectorate expectations and relevant documents The Nursery hope all team members will demonstrate their: Friendly and enthusiastic personality Organisational and time keeping skills Genuine passion for early years care and education Creativity and imaginative skills to support learning experiences Willingness to participate in messy, fun, indoor and outdoor experiences Love and willingness to be part of a friendly team Benefits Staff training opportunities.
