Hendrickson is searching for a Project Engineer who will be responsible for managing all technical aspects of assigned projects including working with our customers. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:* Manage all technical aspects of multiple and/or major projects utilizing the Product Planning and Development Procedure.* Designs, validates, provides test reports and sign-off documents, and ensures production readiness.* Coordinates with CAD, FEA and laboratory personnel and interfaces with other departments in support of the above.* Coordinates the technical design and test aspects on projects with suppliers and customers.* Provides continuous improvement through employee development, process improvement and elimination of waste. Helps to assure safety in the lab and office.* Other duties as assigned.The successful candidate will possess:* Bachelor of Science degree in technical discipline required. BSME/BSAgE/BS AeroE preferred.* Experience in vehicle structural design (preferable heavy or medium duty truck) with exposure to dynamic structural analysis, finite element analysis, fatigue analysis, and product design.* Demonstrated product innovation.* Experience working with customers.* Electrical or brake experience a plus.* Project management experience preferred.* Demonstrated ability to manage and meet product development deadlines.* Strong problem-solving skills, including ability to drive issues to resolution.Hendrickson is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
