Adopt Gobi a Black - with White German Shepherd Dog / Labrador Retriever / Mixed

Gobi is a little over a year old (March 4 is projected birthday). We got him from the humane society and they projected hed be 60-ish pounds. Hes up to 90 (they think hell stop at 100 if healthy and not overweight) and we simply dont have the backyard space for him. Weve also learned my wife is allergic to his German Shepard hair. Gobi is very loving to everyone. Hes sweet. A ball of energy. We love him and hes never bitten anyone or really even shown any aggression. He is so strong that he is walked on a gentle leader and is pretty good with that, although he does try to take it off sometimes - still learning.HE LOVES TO PLAY, especially fetch. He does demand pets by putting his paw on you and is very quick to turn to his belly for scratches.Hes great with kids, but is a bit clumsy, so bigger kids are probably best. He can knock over small children. This is heartbreaking for us because we love him. He just needs more space with a family that isnt allergic.
