PRESTO - DSH - gray/white Presto (aka Penny) is a total love bug. When she sees me coming, that purr box kicks in BIG TIME. It's a bit hard to hear, I'm afraid, over her respiratory issues. Penny has been sick her whole life. When she first came to my home, she and her sister's (LaLou aka LouLou) biggest battle was against a disease called Calicivirus. They have both recovered but are likely to carry the virus in their bodies for life. Penny has also tested FeLV positive. For these reasons, these girls are being adopted together into a home where they'll be the only pets. It's the safest thing for everyone. NEITHER VIRUS POSES A THREAT TO HUMANS. These two girls have spent many months isolated in a single bedroom. Animal rescues are overflowing with no room right now. They deserve SO MUCH MORE.
