Summary: Warehouse Coordinator position focused on the re-crating of product in a safe, efficient manner. Why is Penske Logistics for you? Primary Responsibilities: • Utilization of LOGICS WMS to manage material movement in and out of re-crate area. • Communication with Penske/Whirlpool personnel regarding Quality issues and packaging requirements. • Completion and verification of material movement documentation. • Completion of various reports on a daily basis and as needed. • Monitor and direct any temporary crews of personnel when needed. • Monitor and report daily production in the re-crate area. • Direct and complete the proper product handling of re-crated product. • Report any and all operational, systemic, or other items that impede the successful re-crating of product. Qualifications: Successful candidates for this position should be computer literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word, and have strong interpersonal skills. Clamp-truck certification and the ability to lift at least 50 pounds repeatedly is required. Prior knowledge of WMS and SAP systems a plus. This position is designated as safety sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others. The associate is frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and to reach with hands and arms.
