Senior ServiceNow Platform System Administrator Public Trust Remote Navitas Business Consulting is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Platform System Administrator who'll assume a pivotal role in the organization, dedicated to maintaining, optimizing, and elevating the ServiceNow platform's efficiency for our Federal customer In this role, you'll be tasked with overseeing platform configurations, workflows, and integrations, fostering collaboration with external vendors for advanced technical challenges. - Continuously evaluate emerging ServiceNow features, proposing and implementing enhancements aligned with organizational goals. Responsibilities: Platform Administration- Conduct routine health assessments, ensuring peak performance and availability. - Manage user access, roles, and permissions, adhering to rigorous security standards. - Incident and Problem Management: - Swiftly respond to platform incidents, dissecting root causes and implementing corrective strategies. - Collaborate seamlessly with support teams, proactively instituting monitoring solutions to detect potential issues before user impact. - Institute advanced monitoring solutions for preemptive issue identification. - Conduct comprehensive post-incident analyses, identifying trends and proposing preventative measures. Service Catalog and Request Fulfillment: - Design, implement, and refine service catalog items and workflows. - Ensure timely fulfillment of service requests, perpetually enhancing catalog offerings. - Implement and optimize Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for service requests, ensuring superior service delivery. - Conduct regular reviews of the service catalog, recommending improvements based on usage patterns and user feedback. Change Management: - Spearhead changes in the ServiceNow platform, meticulously following ITIL best practices. - Document and disseminate change details to stakeholders, minimizing disruptions. - Conduct impact assessments for proposed changes, mitigating potential risks. - Establish a robust change advisory board for collaborative decision-making. Automation and Scripting: - Innovate and maintain scripts and automation processes, streamlining platform tasks. - Identify and exploit opportunities for workflow automation, exponentially enhancing operational efficiency. - Implement Robotic Process Automation (RPA) for increased automation capabilities. - Regularly review and update automation scripts to align with evolving business processes. Reporting and Analytics: - Craft and customize reports and dashboards, providing invaluable insights into platform performance. - Train users to harness reporting capabilities for data-driven decision-making. - Implement advanced analytics for nuanced trend analysis and predictive modeling. - Proactively identify opportunities for data-driven process improvements. Knowledge Management: - Establish and curate a comprehensive knowledge base within ServiceNow. - Provide adept training to end-users and government administrators on extracting maximum value from the knowledge base. - Integrate AI-driven knowledge extraction and self-service functionalities. - Implement regular knowledge base audits to ensure accuracy and relevance. Training and Documentation: - Develop comprehensive training materials and conduct engaging sessions for Government administrators. - Create exhaustive documentation for platform configurations, workflows, and best practices. - Pioneering a continuous learning program to ensure administrators stay abreast of the latest ServiceNow features. - Establish a feedback loop for training effectiveness and continuous improvement. Platform Upgrades, Updates, and Enhancements: - Strategically plan and execute platform upgrades, ensuring seamless compatibility with existing configurations. - Oversee the installation of new modules, managing the end-to-end process. - Implement timely patch management to fortify security measures, backed by rigorous testing in a dedicated sandbox environment. - Conduct comprehensive risk assessments before each upgrade or patch deployment. - Establish a rollback plan for upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption in case of unforeseen issues. Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement: - Forge close collaborations with cross-functional teams, comprehending intricate business requirements. - Engage stakeholders regularly, eliciting feedback for perpetual enhancements to platform functionality. - Conduct regular status meetings, fostering alignment with organizational goals. - Establish a proactive communication plan for disseminating platform updates and improvements. Key Deliverables: Monthly reports on platform performance, showcasing incident resolution, and proactive measures. Comprehensive documentation for configurations, workflows, and procedures. Engaging training sessions and materials tailored for Government administrators. Timely execution of platform upgrades, patches, and insightful recommendations for process improvements based on rigorous data analysis. Bi-annual strategic assessments outlining potential platform improvements and optimizations. Successful execution of new module installation projects, upgrades, updates, and enhancements. Performance Metrics: System uptime and availability metrics. Mean Time to Resolve (MTTR) for incidents. User satisfaction metrics for service catalog fulfillment. Adherence to change management processes. Percentage reduction in incident recurrence through proactive monitoring. Number of successfully implemented process improvements based on data analysis.
