Where you will work: This position will be based out of Astound’s Millersville, MD office. A Day in the Life of the Broadband Technician II: Residential and Small Business Install and service/repair (data, video, phone) on customer premises Ensure/record correct RF and signal levels within specifications Communication with leadership and dispatch as needed Customer education and Quality delivery Achieve required training certification and safety requirements Operate company vehicle in safe and responsible manner Other duties as assigned What You Bring to the Table: 6 months of satisfactory metrics OR 1 years external telecommunications technician Maintain satisfactory driving record and have a valid driver's license Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Ladder; Hand or Power Tools; Customer Service; Communication (verbal, written); Basic Computer Skills; Aptitude to learn to skills; Problem solving; Time Management; Teamwork; Working alone Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. Ability to climb a 28 foot ladder.
