Our services include emergency food transitional housing and education for homeless and street-involved youth; hospice palliative care; community mental health programs; and supportive housing programs. By integrating a Harm Reduction framework at Good Shepherd, we can decrease barriers to service and better support some of our community's most marginalized members. This opportunity is with our Good Shepherd - Barrett Centre Ho You Will Make an Impact The Mental Health Clinician is a member of a dynamic, multi-disciplinary team working in alignment with the Housing First philosophy and principles of harm reduction and trauma-informed care. The successful candidate will provide services to individuals and families affiliated with the Reaching Home program and others impacted by mental health issues, substance use and housing precarity/ homelessness. Care will be provided in a variety of office, home and community settings. All services provided will support clients in achieving housing stability, improving quality of life, and optimizing health and well-being. The Mental Health Clinician provides mental health intervention including counselling, referral and advocacy. The successful candidate will also be Responsible for participating in Good Shepherd's Health and Safety programs, procedures and work in compliance with the provisions of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and its regulations to minimize risk to clients, staff and others as well as to the property of the Good Shepherd What You'll Bring to Our Team Minimum undergraduate degree in a related health or.
