The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to helping immigrants and possess a Bar license in any U.S. state or have passed the Bar. Duties and Responsibilities:Provide legal assistance and representation to clients on a variety of immigration mattersConduct legal research and analysis to support case strategiesPrepare and draft legal documents, including petitions, applications, and briefsRepresent clients in immigration proceedings, including interviews, hearings, and appealsCommunicate with clients, government agencies, and other parties involved in immigration casesStay current with developments in immigration law and policyCollaborate with senior attorneys and legal staff on complex immigration casesMaintain accurate and up-to-date case files and documentationAttend training and professional development opportunities to enhance immigration law knowledge Requirements:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law schoolActive Bar license in any U.S. state or passed the BarBilingual proficiency (English and another language, preferably Spanish)Strong academic recordImmigration experience or coursework preferredLegal journal, moot court, or mock trial team participation preferredActive interest in U.S. immigration law and a demonstrated passion for helping immigrants Skills:Excellent oral and written communication skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAttention to detail and accuracyCultural sensitivity and empathy towards immigrant clientsProficiency in legal research and writingTime management and organizational skills Certifications:Active Bar license in any U.S. state or passed the Bar.
