Description:
Work as part of a project team in an agile environment, working with the Product Owner and Scrum Master to ensure team deliverables are met. Attend daily scrum, sprint planning, and other agile ceremonies. Participate in design and technical solutioning meetings and contributing in technical investigation and estimation process. Perform code reviews and giving constructive comments. Write unit test for all front-end code ensuring high percentage of code coverage. Work closely with SDET/QA in the team to discuss scope, edge cases and test strategy. Promote team effectiveness by removing technical blockers. Develop and maintain required documentation. Ongoing monitoring during and post release to fix any technical issues that may arise. Implement rich, interactive data visualizations using modern JavaScript and software development techniques. Collaborate with designers and other UI engineers across the company to contribute to the community and stay up to date on the company?s UI standard methodologies. Mentor other engineers on the team and beyond and feel passionate about improving software by constant iteration with the team. Be responsible for deliverables from inception to operation and maintenance, including participating in team on-call rotations and support activities. Position is fixed location based in Austin office; however, telecommuting from a home office may also be allowed. 40 hours/week, 9:00am-5:00pm.The experience and education requirements are:Requires a Bachelor?s degree in any fieldTwo (2) years of experience in an Engineering role or related occupation.Must have one (1) year of experience in each of the following (experience may be gained concurrently):- Web technologies including React, Git, HTML, CSS, TypeScript, and JavaScript- CSS preprocessors SASS or LESS- Leveraging CSS and JavaScript for responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility- Accessibility standards and the ability to implement accessibility features in web pages- SEO best practices and the ability to optimize websites for search engines- Front-end performance optimization techniques, including code splitting and lazy loading- Modern DevOps practices, including continuous integration and deployment- Next.JS- React, Redux, and Webpack Write re-usable UI components based on design patterns and workflows- Ability to use and integrate React/Redux 3rd party dependencies, middleware, and components- Configuring and using front end build tools and packages managers, including npm and gulp- Interfacing with REST APIs and API Gateways Please copy and paste your resume in the email body do not send attachments, we cannot open them and email them at candidates at placementservicesusa.com with reference #2703417 in the subject line.Thank you.
