Essential Duties Participate in Learning Paths to Engineering Submittals and Control Drawings. Procuring required components for projects. Participate in Learning Paths to Programming sequences of operation, which meet the project requirements. Participate in Learning Paths to Developing graphical representations of customers’ systems. Participate in Learning Paths for Integrating of systems and equipment into the BMS. Participate in Learning Paths for Troubleshooting, testing and commissioning BMS systems and electronics. Applying knowledge of engineering principles and practices. Providing technical sales assistance. Participate owner training. Creating DDC Control database, user graphical interface, third party integration, and points mapping. Participate in Learning Paths for Reviewing equipment submittals for incorporation into design. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree (BS) in engineering or related field of study preferred; or Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school with a certificate in HVAC, AAS, or BAS, or Equivalent combination of education and experience. High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Two (2) years related HVAC controls experience is preferred but not required if candidate holds a BS, AAS, or BAS in an engineering/construction related field Experience with logic programming a plus Experience with Data Networking and Cybersecurity a plus Experience with graphical design a plus Flexibility to work outside normal work hours/weekends, as required. Familiarity with the concepts of new construction and renovation/retrofit. Ability to provide technical support to field labor when needed. Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics. Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical specifications, construction documentation and electrical diagrams. Intermediate knowledge of IP based networking. Mechanical Systems industry knowledge as it pertains to HVAC Visual Basic Programming Competencies Learning Paths. Technical Capacity. Basic Programming. Thoroughness. Data Networking.
