Sophia is an industry-leading provider of low-cost, self-paced online general education courses that are transferable for college credit. The leadership of this team is responsible for the growth and marketability of the platform and its offerings.We are searching for a results-oriented and hands-on brand marketer with exceptional strategic, creative, and analytical skills to manage, evolve, and grow our brand with the B2C audience. The right person for this role will bring a strong POV on how to deliver exceptional results for the brand across all marketing channels.Under the direction and guidance of the Director of Marketing, the brand manager will be responsible for the implementation of our brand strategy across of all aspects of Sophia's B2C strategy, including; segmentation, value props, RTB's, messaging, brand persona, etc. Additionally, they are responsible for upholding and evolving our brand strategy, including the setting of style guides, brand guidelines, and value props across the B2C audience. The brand manager will also be the day-to-day lead on the marketing team for cross-functional B2C campaigns, including seasonal and promotional campaigns, as well as new product and course launches.The right person for this role is someone who loves brand storytelling, loves a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment, and works extremely well in cross-functional teams. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Manage creative from brief to concept to production to in-market. Translate brand elements into plans and go-to-market strategies that hit our target growth goals In alignment with Director of Marketing, develop and own ongoing marketing calendar for customer segments to drive subscriber growth and customer engagement Works with internal and external SMEs / agencies to execute and optimize marketing campaigns as required Ensure brand consistency across all customer-facing campaigns, assets, and experiences Act as marketing lead for assigned course and product launches; develop and execute strategies with guidance from manager and in alignment with business goals Lead creative development to motivate the target audience to "take action," including managing conversion rate optimization across channels Regularly analyze campaign KPIs, track results, gauge success, and report findings for internal and external stakeholders. Leverage analytics to continuously suggest new ideas and optimizations. Develop testing roadmap and work with analytics partners to continually improve our B2C marketing initiatives. Leveraging customer segmentation and key data point insights to personalize communications with our customers based on known needs and pain points. Job Skills: Data-driven thinking and an affinity for numbers and interpreting market research Strong POV on branding and creative best practices Excellent communicator and experience working in, influencing, and leading cross-functional teams Strong skills in telling the story of a brand to drive growth - ideation all the way through working with creative teams to execute Strong organizational skills and ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects based on business needs. Work Experience: 5+ years of brand marketing management experience. Experience in the education, edtech, or subscription product space preferred but not required. Experience developing mass campaigns across a variety of channels including, print, digital, email, radio, and out-of-home. Experience working with agency and creative partners (internally and externally) to drive strategic results Experience working collaboratively with peers and influencing work Education: Bachelor's degree required Other: Must be able to travel occasionally should a business need arise. For most roles travel would not be common. Travel may involve plane, car or metro. In accordance with ADA policies, reasonable accommodations regarding travel limitations can be provided.
