STRAY NEW INTAKE 6/7/2024 STRAY HOLD THRU END OF DAY 6/12/2024 On Tuesday, 6/4/2024, someone witnessed someone dumping two little dogs on the gravel road by the fire station near Forest Hills Subdivision. The dogs ended up wandering into Forest Hills and several residents were trying to capture them, but they were very scared. During this, we were contacted to see if we could take them once they were caught. We said we would take them in or come out with a trap if needed. Thankfully, there was no need for a trap because someone found them huddled in their garage the following morning. That lady took them to her vet for scanning for a chip (no chip) and to just get a look-over. She also took them to a family friend for grooming as they were very unkept. She brought them to us on Friday, 6/7. We have notified animal control that we have them. If no one comes forward by END OF DAY on 6/12/2024, they will be legally our dogs and we will send him to our vet for vetting and place for adoption. You must show proof this is your dog via pictures... vet records, etc. We don't go off of "see if the dog will answer to xxxx". We don't go off of someone just saying the dog is their dog. You must have PROOF! We do NOT take applications for dogs UNTIL they are posted for adoption provided no owner comes forward during stray. Early applications BEFORE the dog is posted for adoption will not be processed. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
