You miss 100% of the jobs you don't apply forVolt is immediately hiring a Structural Steel Estimator in Sacramento, CA.As a Structural Steel Estimator, you will: * Review and analyze plans, specifications, and other documentation to accurately prepare and estimate projects. * Collaborate with the estimating team, Project Managers, and purchasing department * Prepare accurate takeoff of all steel material, shop labor, buyout items, subcontractors, and equipment costs to prepare a comprehensive bid estimate * Interact with other key team members in a professional manner * Establish lasting relationships with clients and subcontractors * Prepare bid estimates on new projects, estimate prices for change orders on current contracts, provide value-engineering services for budgets, and summarize results with appropriate leaders to track and monitor bid resultsThis is a full-time, Direct Hire opportunity. * The ideal candidate will have: * High-School Diploma or equivalent required * 1-3 years of cost estimating and bidding experience on structural steel construction projects is preferred * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * General understanding of structural and architectural design, plans, specifications, and best practices * Ability to manage multiple projects in a timely manner * Experience in Microsoft Suite and AdobeSalary: $100,000K - $131,000K annually *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
