The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in construction law, with prior insurance defense experience being a plus. The firm offers competitive pay, bonuses, and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, life insurance, 401(k) with employer contribution, and PTO.Duties:Provide legal advice and representation to clients in construction law matters.Draft and negotiate construction contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.Handle litigation and dispute resolution related to construction projects.Conduct legal research and analysis on construction law issues.Advise clients on regulatory compliance and risk management in construction projects.Attend hearings, depositions, trials, and other legal proceedings as necessary.Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff on case management.Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the Florida State Bar or ability to waive into the Florida Bar.3+ years of experience practicing construction law.Strong understanding of construction contracts, lien laws, and related regulations.Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.Certifications (Preferred):Certification in Construction Law or related field.Skills:Proficiency in legal research tools and databases.Strong negotiation and mediation skills.Attention to detail and analytical thinking.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
