Little League World Series Courtesy Shuttle Driver Dates of Employment are August 14 - 25, 2024 (Flexible Start and End Dates!) Little League International of Williamsport, Pennsylvania, is looking to hire Courtesy Shuttle Drivers for the World Series that will run from August 14, 2024 until August 25, 2024 and earns $12 per hour with flexible scheduling. Applicants must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record. A ll applicable background checks are required. ABOUT LITTLE LEAGUE INTERNATIONAL Located in South Williamsport, Pennsylvania, we are the administrative and operational headquarters for Little League Baseball and Softball, the leading nonprofit youth sports organization with 75+ years of history supporting youth baseball and softball. Little League® is played in approximately 6,500 communities across more than 80 countries around the world. We believe in the power of youth baseball and softball to teach life lessons that build stronger individuals and communities. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A COURTESY SHUTTLE DRIVER AT LITTLE LEAGUE INTERNATIONAL This position is responsible for greeting, welcoming and safely transporting guests in a timely manner using minivans, SUVs or multi-passenger golf carts on the Little League complex or throughout Williamsport and surrounding areas. Must be professional, courteous, and friendly at all times, and be as an ambassador for the World Series event and provide helpful information to guests. Assist in the boarding of passengers when needed. Complete and submit daily vehicle inspection at the beginning of each shift, report damage, accidents, or unsafe conditions immediately. QUALIFICATIONS FOR LITTLE LEAGUE WORLD SERIES COURTESY SHUTTLE DRIVER A positive attitude and ability to work as a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Drive in a safe and responsible manner, observing all laws and speed limits. Must be within commuting distance to South Williamsport, PA and have reliable transportation. Be available for MOST dates from August 12, 2024 through August 26, 2024. Pleasant demeanor and excellent customer service skills to make every guest feel special. Willingness to work in all weather conditions from rain to extreme heat. Must be able to follow directions. Must have excellent eyesight, hearing, and quick reaction time. Must be in good physical condition and be able to sit for long periods of time as well as stand, stoop, bend, walk and lift/reach with arms and hands. The ability to keep up in a fast-paced working environment without sacrificing safety.
