Summer Camp Food Service Manager Salary : $14-$16/hour Summer Camp Food Service Manager Hours : Monday - Friday through the summer, no nights or weekends! (Seasonal) Summer Camp Food Service Manager Responsibilities : Under the direction of the Director, maintain standards of cleanliness in kitchen Prepare and distribute morning snack, lunch, and afternoon snack on a daily basis Clean kitchen and dishes by the end of each shift Maintain menu and grocery shop for menu on a weekly basis. Remove garbage from kitchen and classrooms on a daily basis. Organize and clean refrigerator and freezer Store milk in refrigerator upon delivery Keep daily/weekly count of milk used by each classroom. Summer Camp Food Service Manager Qualifications : At least one year of work experience as a cook preferred Possess or obtain current food service certification Experience in using cutting tools, cookware, and bakeware Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, baking, boiling etc.) Knowledge of the rules/guidelines related to kitchen rules/safety Ability to follow all sanitation procedures Desire and ability to work with children Ability to work in a team Very good communication skills Excellent physical condition and stamina Track record of building relationships with staff, volunteers, and parents.
