Location: GVYMCA Bethlehem Branch: 430 E Broad St, Bethlehem, PA 18018 ABOUT Greater Valley YMCA Greater Valley YMCA is a charitable, nonprofit organization committed to strengthening our communities through membership and programs that foster youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility for all . Manager on Duty Salary : $11-$13.00 per hour Manager on Duty Hours : Up to 25 hours per week, Evenings and Weekends Manager on Duty Responsibilities : Follows procedures for opening/closing of facility as necessary according to assigned shift Provides overall coordination of planned facility activities as well as maintains sense of order throughout the facility Assists the Welcome Center team in new member intake and tours providing a family-friendly atmosphere and sharing the YMCA story Conducts facility and grounds "walk-throughs" minimally each hour while on duty to ensure the safety of all members, staff and participants Ensures all mechanical systems and equipment are in working order and reports any that need repair Handles all emergency situations in the building with the assistance of staff on duty at the time of the incident Completes reports specific to any incidents Performs other duties as assigned Manager on Duty Qualifications : High School diploma or equivalent required Ability to handle variety of situations, while remaining calm in potentially difficult circumstances Good verbal and written communication Ability to work with integrity, discretion and a professional approach, maintaining confidentiality as necessary Employee must be able to work evenings and weekends Bi-lingual (Spanish) helpful, but not required Manager on Duty Benefits: Free Membership to the Y Training & Development Wellness Resources Retirement Plan (403b) and (401a) - (Employer contribution up to 8%) Childcare discounts (up to 50% off) Salary: $11-$13.00 per hour Job Type: Part -time YMCA is an Equal Opportunity Employer All Qualified Women, Minorities, Persons with Disabilities, and US Veterans Encouraged to Apply ARE YOU READY TO JOIN OUR TEAM?
