The ideal candidate will possess a well-rounded skill set, including proficiency in research and writing and a keen interest in depositions and trial advocacy. Duties:Conduct legal research, analysis, and case strategy development.Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.Represent clients in hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings.Collaborate with senior attorneys on trial preparation and strategy.Maintain communication with clients to provide updates on case developments.Attend court appearances and proceedings as required.Participate in settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution processes.Handle a diverse caseload involving public entity defense litigation matters. Requirements:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Admission to the California State Bar.3-7 years of litigation experience in state or federal court.Experience in public entity defense litigation is preferred.Strong research and writing skills.Demonstrated interest in depositions and trial advocacy. Skills:Proficient in legal research and analysis.Strong written and oral communication skills.Ability to handle depositions and trial advocacy.Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.Collaborative mindset to work effectively within a legal team.
