Doyle Security Services, Inc. (DSS) a premium regional security provider is seeking a Business Development Manager in the Southeast Florida area. SALARY: $100,000 - $110,000 plus Bonus Plan (Commensurate with experience) COMMISSION : 2% of Gross Sales the first year, 1% second year, and 1/2% third year SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday 9AM - 5PM BENEFITS: Paid Time Off ( PTO) Medical Plan Vision Plan Dental Plan 401 K Life Insurance Career Development Opportunities Referral Bonuses GENERAL PURPOSE: Driving business growth, helping business make decisions and developing relationships. Their duties can vary on a day-to-day basis, but may include: Identifying opportunities: Researching target markets, attending meetings, and networking to find opportunities Generating leads: Cold calling, reaching out to prospects, and pursuing leads through the sales cycle Creating plans: Developing growth strategies, forecasting sales targets, and setting goals for business and revenue growth Negotiating: Negotiating client pricing and developing and negotiating contracts Promoting: Demonstrating products or services and guiding customers through purchase decisions Maintaining relationships: Maintaining positive client relationships and providing feedback to salespeople Closing deals: Proposing and cultivating business deals, and closing new business deals KNOWLEDGE: Prefer a bachelor's degree, will accept equivalent or professional experience on a case-by-case bases. 5 years of progressively responsible experience in security or equivalent field. SKILLS/ABILITIES: Excellent phone etiquette and written communication skills. Technological experience Persistent Approach Reliable Ability to think strategically and develop innovative solutions. Excellent planning, organization, and leadership/supervisory skills. Strong customer service and quality orientation. Ability to be an effective member of and lead project teams. Ability to function effectively in a matrix management organization. Ability to facilitate progressive change. A willingness to take prudent risks.
